Concert of the Hostel Dieu : " FugaCités " Dance + Slam
Presentation
"FugaCités" is a meeting between baroque music and urban cultures, imagined by Franck-Emmanuel Comte and staged by the director Bérénice Collet.
It is about poetic and interdisciplinary variations with multiple inspirations, a creative dialogue between the instrumentalists of the Concert de l'Hostel Dieu and leading artists of urban cultures: Mehdi Krüger (slam), Jérôme Oussou (hip-hop dance) choreographed by Mourad Merzouki.
Created during the confinement, "FugaCités" is a unique show, lit by Pauline Vauchez and accompanied by the video counterpoint of Christophe Waksmann.
Each act highlights a particular crossbreeding, but the whole show reserves a certain number of bridges and interactions between the disciplines.
FugaCités Dance : baroque music + hip-hop dance
With fluidity and poetry, the Concert de l'Hostel Dieu and Mourad Merzouki have imagined this choreographed concert by closely associating the musicians with the dancer. Jérôme Oussou's hip-hop and the baroque melodies play with the centuries that separate them in a timeless exchange. A touch of humor completes the dreamlike universe that characterizes Mourad Merzouki's shows.
