Tribute to Jacques Bonnaud

Died on March 5, 2022 at 92 years old, Jacques Bonnaud was a journalist, writer, activist of the cultural life of Bagnols.
Originally a sports journalist, he created the Bagnols branch of Midi LibreMidi Libre and was at the origin of many institutions: the Compagnie de la Côte du Rhône gardoise, the Académie de Lascours, the musical review OPMUDAOPMUDA, the Friends of Rabelais...
He had published numerous works, notably on Bagnols and the Gard Rhone, wine, Rabelais.
In 2002, he donated his collection of books and objects on Rabelais to the city of Bagnols-sur-Cèze, which was deposited in the Léon-Alègre media library.
To pay tribute to him, many partners will recall his life and his work, accompanied by music, readings of Rabelais, paintings, books, videos and photographs.
