La Maison Perchée in Montclus, a village classified as the Most Beautiful Village in France, offers a charming gîte or chambres d'hôtes.
It's the perfect place to unwind, with a beautiful garden planted with olive trees, a swimming pool (12mx2m50) and a pétanque court.

Bernas, Hameau de Montclus, perched on a rock between garrigue and olive groves, overlooks the Cèze valley. It's here, in a former sheepfold, that we've created our rooms. A swimming pool and pétanque court are at your disposal in our olive garden. Facing the Cévennes, just a few kilometers from the Gorges de l'Ardèche, it's an ideal starting point for hiking.

We offer both bed & breakfast and gite accommodation for 5 or 9 people.
Our rooms are named after local olive varieties.

For 5 people, we offer the Rougette and Négrette, which open directly onto the patio, as do the living room and adjoining fully-equipped kitchen. Each of these two rooms has its own private bathroom, with walk-in shower and separate toilet.

These are the 2 rooms we can offer as bed and breakfast.

For 9 people, we suggest adding the Frontoï, a bedroom for 4, in a row, like a family or friendly suite. Located on the first floor, facing south, it opens onto a wooden terrace and also has its own shower room and bathroom.
To this can be added the Picholine room for 2 people, so you can be 11!
This configuration of 4 rooms for 9 people or 5 rooms for 11 is perfect for accommodating trainees in yoga groups, for example.
Please note that 3 of our double beds can be separated into 2 independent berths.

All rooms have been renovated with simplicity and taste. The stone walls maintain a moderate temperature, and a ceiling fan keeps things cool in summer.
