Presentation

The Domaine de la Mordorée is located in TAVEL, in the Southern Rhône Valley and produces some of the greatest vintages of the Rhône Valley: Tavel, where the cellar is located, Châteauneuf du pape, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône and vin de France.
Created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, Domaine de la Mordorée covers several appellations in the Rhône Valley: Tavel (where the winery is located), Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes-du-Rhône, Vin de France and Condrieu. This vineyard covers 60 hectares in the Southern Rhone Valley, and is divided into 40 parcels and 8 communes, all of which are certified organic and biodynamic.

In 30 years, Christophe (1962-2015) has raised Domaine de la Mordorée to the level of the greatest.
For "Love of the earth", Christophe Delorme, a perfectionist, passionate and visionary winemaker, has chosen to respect the terroir.
Since 2016, the estate has been managed by Madeleine Delorme and their daughter Ambre. They continue the work initiated by Christophe, preserving the business to which he dedicated himself body and soul, while respecting the main objective: to produce the best possible wines.
The whole vineyard is certified Biodynamic Demeter since 2020, the wines are certified organic since 2013 and the estate HVE level 3 (High Environmental Value) since 2019. The harvest is always done by hand and followed by a rigorous sorting.

Our tasting and sales cellar is open all year round. You can also discover the vineyard on foot, by reservation. If you wish to stay in the area, we can organise your accommodation in our gîte, "La Villa d'Ambre".
Période(s) d'ouvertureAll year round, daily.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
