Presentation
Domaine de la Mordorée was founded in 1986 and produces Grand Cru wines from the Rhône Valley. The estate covers a surface area of 58 hectares and is certified an organic and biodynamic estate.
The Domaine de la Mordorée is in Tavel, in the southern part of Rhône Valley and this is where some of the greatest Grand Cru wines of Rhône Valley are produced: Tavel, where the wine cellar is, Châteauneuf du Pape, Côtes du Rhône and Vin de France.
There are 58 hectares of vines spread across 38 vine plots and 8 towns.
The Domaine de la Mordorée was created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe. It is just a few kilometres away from Avignon, in the southern part of Rhône Valley.
The family business owes its success to Christophe Delorme who managed to develop it into one of the greatest winegrowing estates. Madeleine & Ambre, their daughter, have been managing the company since 2016 along with their on-site team.
Motivated by our love for the land, our estate has been committed to organic farming practices since 2010. We operate our entire vineyard according to the biodynamic method of winemaking. Our wines are made with DEMETER-certified grapes. Harvesting is always done by hand and then the grapes are sorted meticulously. Our estate bears the High Environmental Value certification.
Our wine tasting cellar and shop is open all year round. You can also come and explore the vineyard on foot, with a prior booking. If you would like to stay in the region, we recommend the 'Villa d'Ambre', which is also managed by the estate.
If you would like any further information, don't hesitate to contact us by telephone on +33 (0)4 66 50 00 75 or by email at info@domaine-mordoree.com.
